The Snow Mountain Community Foundation operated in the Southwestern part of the country in four communes: Bystrzyca Klodzka, Ladek Zdroj, Miedzylesie and Stronie Slaskie. The area is populated by some 50,000 individuals.
Successes:
>> Building a capital endowment of $108,330;
>> 348 grants worth $47,630;
>> 45 scholarships worth $2,850
In 2002 four grant programs were executed, including three scholarship programs. In 2002 113 grants and 41 scholarships were awarded. The total value of financial aid amounted at $26,713.
"Donor of the Year? has organized since 2000 as an annual event summing up the CF achievements, incorporating the ceremony of awarding the greatest donors of the previous year with commemorative statues and certificates.
CF took part in program "Act Locally" of ADPP as re-granting organization. Apart from this CF realized 4 own programs.
