The Lezajsk Community Foundation(Fundusz Lokalny Powiatu Lezajskiego)
The Foundation covers the Leżajsk county, population of 70,000.
Successes:
>> Building a capital endowment of $73,870;
>> 117 grants worth $34,410;
>> 164 scholarships worth $38,820.
In 2002, five grant programs were executed: the scholarship program, the Bridging Scholarships Program for students, the "Hour after Classes" program, the competition program for children in the county's schools, and a local edition of the Act Locally II program. The CF awarded 69 scholarships, 31 grants and 8 awards in a competition for students, worth a total o $37,870. In the future, the CF plans to execute four permanent grant programs.
