The Nidzica Community Foundation lies in Northeastern Poland and covers four communes: Nidzica, Janowiec Koscielny, Janowo, Kozlowo. There are 40,000 residents in the area.

Successes:

>> Building a capital endowment o $154,323, comprising four funds: the ZAK scholarship fund - 56,3%, the PRYMUS scholarship fund - 42,8%, the LOKOMOTYWA fund - 0,69% and the Crimea -Tatar Scholarship Fund - 0,3%
>> 98 grants worth $14,800;
>> 163 scholarships worth $55,000.

In 2002, six grant programs were executed: four scholarship programs and two grant programs. In the future, the Community Foundation plans to maintain the number of permanent grant programs. CF organizes Gregorovius event to award greatest donators of local NGO sector. The CF also involves stipendiaries into the "Penny for happiness" aimed at supporting youth projects.
