The Foundation covers the city of Raciborz, lying on the Odra River in Southwestern Poland. Population 60,000.

Successes:

>> Building a capital endowment of $196,800;
>> 3 grants worth $17,600;
>> 85 scholarships worth $20,700.

Five grant programs were executed: Food for Pupils Program, Mecenat II scholarship program and its supplement Mecenat III, the bridging scholarship program, the Tornister dla Pierwszaka [Schoolbag for First-Grader] program. In September 2002 4th edition of the Mecenat scholarship program was launched.

In 2002, 47 scholarships and over 100 grants were given in the material form (schoolbags). The total value of aid was $15,380. In the future the Foundation plans to run four permanent grant programs every year.
