The Foundation covers the Sokolka commune, population of 34,000.

Successes:

>> Building a capital endowment of $85,000, comprising a scholarship fund using 27 % of the entire endowment and unrestricted fund - 73 %;
>> 24 grants worth $32,850;
>> 118 scholarships worth $31,570.

In 2002, five programs were executed: two grant programs (Hour after Classes, KONICZYNKA and Summer Vacation 2002) and three scholarship programs (STUDENT, PRYMUS and BRIDGING SCHOLARSHIPS). Nine grants were awarded for the Hour after Class program, one for the Winter Break, and one for the Summer Vacation 2002. 65 scholarships were given worth $16,410, and five Bridging Scholarships were awarded worth a total of $4,700. In the future the CF plans to run six permanent grant programs. Apart from this CF realized its own program.

CF organizes Benefactor of the Month and annually Benefactor of the Year event to award greatest donators of local NGO sector.
