“Students Help Locally” aims to organize summer training for more than ninty students of social sciences departments. A competition determines the departmental candidates. Winners of the competition work as interns at Local Grant-making Organizations, i.e. NGOs participating in the “Act Locally” Program.
The Project’s goal is to help students verify in practice their theoretical knowledge acquired at college and to take a closer look at the challenges of local communities and organizations active in this environment. Additionally, our hope is that students’ knowledge will constitute a precious contribution to the LGOs.
