We want to rise to the challenges

There are far too few strong organisations in Poland that represent the needs of the aged. Organisations operating in this field apart from financial support require access to expert knowledge and the ability to profit from foreign experiences.

We suggest the following activities

By running the "Us too - Senior Citizens in the European Union" Programme we aimed to duly prepare leaders of at least 25 senior organisations (50 people) to inform the aged about the European Union. When inviting organisations to participate in the project we gave priority to those selected as the most interesting and effective initiatives targeted at the aged in the 2003 contest "Golden Age Atlas". Consequently, the most active organisations took part in the project, which ensured they are able to apply the knowledge gained in their everyday activities.
